Chocolate Porridge

This morning I wanted chocolate! Plain and simple, however, shovelling in a vast amount of sugar is certainly not what my body wants … ever! So I thought I would make yummy chocolate porridge.  It definitely hit the spot and I’m now fully satiated and content! 

 

 

½ Cup raw organic oats

½ cup water

½ cup coconut milk

2  teaspoons raw cacao powder

Sprinkling of ground cinnamon

 

 

Bring all ingredients to the boil.  Simmer gently stirring often until fully incorporated and the oats are cooked.  Serve with a swirl of maple syrup, sprinkling of desiccated coconut and top with some stewed apples or any fruit of choice.
